How we make our pendulums
Our
pendulums are made of Beechwood
and have a pure silk cord.
These
materials have been chosen as they are inert and do not hold onto any
energy. This means the pendulum does not need to be constantly cleansed
after each use.
Our pendulums are shaped on a lathe in
England and shipped to us in New Zealand. Here they go onto
the
lathe again before being sanded to a fine finish.
They are
then brushed with a sealing lacquer and allowed to dry for 24 hours
before being recoated. This process is repeated eight
times.
After the final coat they are threaded with the silk cord, assembled
and boxed up.
